Windy days are great for...

...Bubbles.

:) We got tired of being inside and ventured outdoors
with a massive amount of soap, perfect for bubble making!

This one is my favorite, its so funny.

This made me laugh so hard today.  They all kept asking me to spell things and this is one of the things they came up with.  It says, "Sharks Eat Humans. "
Here is the shark eating the human...

We made ducks out of our feet...
and kites.
We went out tonight after we all got done with work, just us girls and Dad :) We had a good time.

I ran into this guy on the way home, pretty neat huh?

Taking the Time : 0 )

Yesterday we took a trip to the library to read some books and have some music time that the library was putting on for the kids.  On the way back I stopped and realized that none of them were behind me anymore.  As I panicked, I found them off to the side smelling flowers. It had the most profound impact on me, simply because I realized that with my crazy schedule, I have failed to take the time to do that.  I have my quiet reading and prayer time at night and in the morning, but I realized, sadly, that I don' t really stop and just smell the flowers.  The kids were so cute about it when I asked them why they had stopped.  They said, "Well Miss Taylor, they just smell really good! "
This is a picture I found among my desk of papers. That is one thing you do not learn in college when studying to become a teacher: How to organize your desk!
Today at lunch we were trying to make up funny words, and one of the kids started talking about the word mustache.  Then they wanted to draw one on their faces, so we did this instead.  It was pretty hilarious, but I guess you had to be there :)

Summer Fun :)

So far summer has been pretty hectic! We've all been on the go for the past month! I feel like I haven't' really had a break since before finals!  I will hopefully get a chance in the next week to put up a few more pics and update you all on life recently. But for now here are some pictures of the summer school class that I am teaching.

The boys. They are all that I have some days!
We talked about the different kinds of insects here in Arizona for Arizona week. So we made some of our own insects in the form of cookies :)

I think that they turned out okay :) The kids seemed to enjoy them!

This past week we talked about Native Americans. Here are a few of them sitting around our "fire" telling stories the way they thought that the Native Americans would have.
We made tepees our of tortillas
And then made a tepee of our own, or rather we tired to make a tepee of our own.

Our class is called the Boulders.
Some of them made their own Indian feather hats. It was pretty fun.

Well I will hopefully add some more in the next few days!
