No Finals In Heaven

I am studying in the lobby tonight with a bunch of people, and have had so much coffee I just might stay awake the rest of my life! Now I know why the majority of doctors try to stay away from the caffeine!
I just wanted to post real quickly something kind of neat that happened today. After all of my finals some friends and I went out to eat. While they were talking, I scanned the room and saw the sweet little face of a girl balancing herself on her knees in her chair.  Her grandma was meticulously spooning the little girls soup, blowing on each sip before allowing her granddaughter to have any of the soup.  I was entertained as she carefully tested each sip before letting the little girl eat. It was a perfect picture for me of how much I need to trust God and it revealed to me how much I do not trust Him, even though I think that I do.
This year was SO HARD! But is was also really wonderful, and if a grandma is that careful to make sure that a hot liquid won't burn the precious little lips of her granddaughter, then won't my heavenly Father also take care of my every need with even more preciseness and love?
Tonight Isaiah 26: 3-4 kept us all going. It says,

"You will keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you.
Trust in the Lord forever."

One a funny note, Megan walked into the lobby earlier as we were all lost in our books, and said all excitedly, "You guys want to know something I just thought about? There aren't going to be any finals in heaven! Isn't that great!?" - Thought that was pretty funny.
Miss you guys and guess what!
I am coming home in two days! Love you!

Weekend Away :)...and a crazy amount of pictures!

I went to my friend Megan's house after the Spring Banquet last weekend.  These are all out of order but I put up some pictures of the mission that I went to on a field trip for California History.  Then I put up some pictures of the banquet and my weekend away :) I am sorry it took so long for me post!

"Colored tongues" from snow cones.

This lady had a CRAZY flower hat and she let Megan take a picture with it on!
I love this one! She is such a diva.

Scott testing his strength.
They kind of freaked me out!
We went to the fair and there were these "Turkey Races." The turkeys chase a remote control car full of food.  This little girl is terrified of the big one above.
Megan's best friend Sarah is 5 1/2 months pregnant.  She got married about 7 months ago. It was so much fun hanging out with her and watching the baby kick, HOWEVER, it quieted that urge in me to get married...I think I am okay with my singleness for right now :D
This one above turned out pretty well I thought.

Trying to entertain the girls by giving them, "picture time :)"

My first "In- California-Friend-From-College-Home-Cooked-Meal"
It was Megan's oldest niece's birthday
A great nose-picking picture of Megan's nieces :)
Had to get Scott's pink shoes
This one is my favorites.

They reminded me a lot of my cousins Casey and Jacob.
Megan's twin brothers had their prom this past weekend and they asked me to take some pictures.
Just had to get one in of the shoes :)
This is a rose that got caught in my dress.

Meg was trying to break into the Marriage Chapel
I was so psyched that I still fit in my prom dress from 2 years ago!
The Hollywood themed photo-shoot thing
I was teaching everyone at our table how to make a chicken out of your napkin.  They thought it was hilarious .
The lighting was awful in here, I also don't really know how to use my camera so maybe thats why...

The supposedly "haunted hallway."

The girls

The queen marry :) Banquet night!

I had to try this one, I didn't do it as well as the one I was trying to copy :)
Abraham Lincoln's signature, signing over the missions back to the people, just two weeks before his death.
One of the old bells that survived wars, and earthquakes.
